I've heard of this and wondering if it's real or a joke.
I've heard that you can kind of 'block' your livejournal from receiving/viewing comments from certain people. Now, obviously you can do this in your personal journal how does that work in other communities?

Because someone was being harassed on this community once and everyone was like; well, just block comments and you won't see them anymore no matter where you are and I was like: BUH? You can't DO that!

Can you?

*confused*

Sorry, random.

Let's see... having a shit day. Will expand upon that later if I feel up to it. :)

nah, you can ban_set from your own journal, but they can still comment on you on communities and you can still see their comments (and vice versa). unless something has changed recently, but that's how it's been for the past... 3 years? XD

That's what I THOUGHT so I was very confused by their advice.

I've never used ban_set. :) I like drama. Heh.

I used to ban_set people I had removed from my flist who hadn't removed me, I used to be obsessed with having my friends and friends of numbers matching. so now that I don't care about it anymore I have about 30 people banned for no good reason. :E I don't think I have banned anyone for dramu, though.
